It's Approved!
At the special Board meeting held on September 29, the Board of Harbor Commissioners unanimously approved the San Pedro Waterfront Project.

More than 450 people attended and nearly 100 of them gave their perspectives to the Harbor Commission.  In addition to overwhelming support for the plan, one point was made very clear - the projects nearest to downtown should be a top priority in the construction schedule.  With this input in mind, the Board made a point that the "downtown first" sentiment will be embraced.  they also made their project approval contingent on making the east side of Kaiser Point (Berth 46) the first berth to be developed as part of a future Outer Harbor Cruise Terminal.

Thanks to the vision, hard work and dedication of so many people in the community, the san Pedro Waterfront Project is on its way!
