San Pedro Downtown Harbor
Public Workshop - March 18, 2010

More than 70 community members attended the workshop for the San Pedro Waterfront--Downtown Harbor on March 18.  Held in the Port of Los Angeles High School cafeteria, the workshop featured design elements to date as well as design options that are still pending.

The workshop included breakout stations for four different planning areas:
 - Promenade & Water Cuts
 - Town Square & Plazas
 - Ralph J. Scott Fireboat Display Structure
 - Future Downtown Harbor - Phase II

At each station, community members learned more about the plans for the area and were asked for their opinions. For those needing a little extra time to process and think about the various options, "idea cards" were distributed and can be e-mailed to the Port or dropped-off at the Harbor Administration Building.
