A LITTLE BACKGROUND ON THE LA WATERFRONT

The LA Waterfront has been designated as the official waterfront of the City of Los Angeles for two decades. The LA Waterfront is funded by the Port of Los Angeles and offers both locals and tourist a unique destination for shopping, dining, and recreating. Set against the backdrop of our nation’s busiest port, the LA Waterfront includes the Los Angeles Harbor communities of San Pedro and Wilmington. The Port of LA is committed to delivering projects that provide additional open space, encourage public access, and take a sustainable approach to design, planning, and urban architecture.
