22nd Street Park is an 18-acre park on the site of a former tank farm in San Pedro across from 22nd Street Landing at the Port of Los Angeles. The park offers walking and biking trails, shade trees, a bocce ball court, restrooms, ample parking and more than four-acres of flat grassy area for recreation — all with a water view
and steps away from both Brouwerij West and CRAFTED at the Port of Los Angeles warehouses.

Al Larson Boat Shop was established in 1903 and is located at the entrance to Fish Harbor.
Al Larson Boat Shop and Marina offer is a full service shipyard which incorporates four marine railways, a floating dry dock and dockside work areas all separated by wood docks and piers.

Banning Museum

Located in the heart of Wilmington, the Banning Museum is the former home of Phineas Banning, “the Father of the Port of Los Angeles”. Built in 1864, this 23-room residence and stagecoach barn were acquired by the City of Los Angeles in 1927, along with the surrounding 20 acres of parkland.

Battleship IOWA / National Museum of the Surface Navy

Commissioned in 1943, this 887-foot, 45,000-ton World War II battleship has been designated the “World’s Greatest Naval Ship”.  The USS IOWA served our country for over 50 years and no other battleship in our nation’s history has been host to more U.S. Presidents than the IOWA. 

The Battleship IOWA is also the future home of the National Museum of the Surface Navy with Phase I opening in 2025.

The Catalina Sea and Air Terminal is located on the Los Angeles Cruise Ship Promenade in San Pedro, which is freeway accessible from Los Angeles and Orange Counties. The terminal offers two eateries: The Express Grill, open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the Catalina Bistro, open for breakfast and lunch daily, as well as a dinner menu on Fridays and Saturdays.

Fanfare Fountains at Gateway Plaza

Please be advised that water shows for the Fanfare Fountains at Gateway Plaza continue to be paused.
Thank you for your ongoing patience.

Pumping 400,000 gallons of recycled water, with jets and and water streams that go as high as 100 feet in the air,
the Fanfare Fountains at the Port of Los Angeles comprise one of the largest water features in Los Angeles.

The schedule for the fountains, once restored, will remain the same:

Summer/Fall Show Schedule (May 1 through November 30)
10 a.m. to 10 p.m., every 30 minutes
12 p.m. to 1 p.m., every 10 minutes
8 p.m. to 9 p.m., every 10 minutes
Fountain closes daily at 10 p.m.

Established in 1985 and dedicated to the history of Fort MacArthur, was once a U.S. Army post which guarded the Los Angeles harbor from 1914 to 1974.  This unique museum is housed in the corridors and galleries of historic Battery Osgood-Farley, a key historical structure which enabled the U.S. Army to defend the American continental coastline from invasion.

Los Angeles Harbor Light (Angels Gate)

Located on the San Pedro Breakwater, this historic lighthouse has marked the entrance to the Port of Los Angeles since 1913. The lighthouse is firmly anchored to a concrete block and built of steel reinforced concrete - the only lighthouse ever built to this design. It is the only lighthouse to use a rotating green light. In 2013, Angels Gate Lighthouse will celebrate its centennial year of service. No pedestrian access.

Lane Victory serves as a living museum and memorial to the service and sacrifices of all Merchant Marine sailors and Navy Armed Guardsmen.  The Lane Victory is a 10,000-ton fully operational World War II cargo ship, which has been restored and is operated by an all-volunteer crew of the U.S. Merchant Marine Veterans of WWII. Guided tours are by reservation only.

Built in 1928, this seven-story building has both neoclassical and baroque architectural characteristics. On the 7th floor is an old jail that was nicknamed “7th Heaven.” Today, many of the LA City Departments and the 15th District Council Office occupy the building.

The Banning Museum

This former residence of General Phineas Banning, a founder of the City of Los Angeles, was built in 1864. An extensive collection of Victorian decorative arts and furnishings are housed in this 23-room Greek Revival mansion situated on 20-acre park in Wilmington.

U.S. Post Office, San Pedro

Constructed in 1936 as a Public Works Administration project, this post office formerly served as a U.S. Customs Office. The building showcases an extensive use of marble, bronze and milk glass that are indicative of the Art Deco period. The mail transportation oil-on-canvas mural depicts how mail is transported no matter the conditions.

Vincent Thomas Bridge

Completed in 1963, the Vincent Thomas Bridge is 6,050 feet in length. It is the third largest suspension bridge in California after the Golden Gate and San Francisco Bay bridges, respectively. Named after Assemblyman Vincent Thomas of San Pedro, this bridge is the official welcoming landmark for the City of Los Angeles. No pedestrian access.

Wilmington Waterfront Park

The Wilmington Waterfront Park, formerly known as the Harry Bridges Boulevard Buffer Project, was designed as an element of the Berths 136-147 (TraPac) Container Terminal Project Environmental Impact Report (EIR) approved by the Los Angeles Board of Harbor Commissioners in 2007 to provide public open space between Port operations and adjacent residences in Wilmington.

The newly completed Wilmington Waterfront Promenade spans Berths 183-186.
Approximately 1,300 feet in length, the promenade is adjacent to Banning’s Landing Community Center.
Features of the Wilmington Waterfront Promenade include a “picnic pier”, public floating dock, tidal steps, waterfront seating, swings, a children's play area, bicycle trails and other amenities.
