So Cal Hoe Down Comes to the Outer Harbor

When:  Sat., Oct. 5, 2019 11 a.m.
Where: Outer Harbor, Berth 46, 3011 Miner St, San Pedro, CA 90731 (map).

Previously held in downtown Santa Ana, the third annual So Cal Hoe Down is coming to the Outer Harbor at the  Port of LA's LA Waterfront, just across from the S.S. Lane Victory in San Pedro. The line-up, spearheaded by Suicidal Tendencies, will also include sets from Nekromantix, Three Bad Jacks, D.I., Dickies, Agent Orange, The Dwarves and more. The event will also features a classic car show, pin-up girl contest, bars, food trucks and much more.

Autumn Sea Fair at the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium

Celebrate the bounty of the sea with fun-in-the-sun games, activities, music and hometown spirit at Cabrillo Marine Aquarium's Autumn Sea Fair! This family friendly event is free and fun for all ages.  Visitors will enjoy a day of sea-themed activities including face painting, origami craft making, a search for buried treasure, a sand sculpture challenge, a fishing rod casting lesson, informative animal feedings and opportunities to interact with conservation-minded exhibitors. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in the Ocean Monster Costume Contest and the Ocean Olympics. Live music will be provided by the Westside Ukulele Ensemble and the Insect Surfers!

The Port of LA is Going Country at the Freedom Festival

The Port is going country with the inaugural Subaru Country Freedom Festival, an all-day country music fest celebrating active military, vets and first responders on Saturday, October 19. Enjoy performances by today's hottest country artists including Chris Janson, Honey County and many more.

Barktober at the Downtown Harbor

Don't miss the debut of Barktober on Saturday, October 26 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. This inagural event will feature a pet costume fashion show and contest, complete with trick-or-treating and a promenade walk.  Dress your furry friends up in their best costumes and head to the Downtown Harbor 504 S. Harbor Blvd., San Pedro, CA 90731 (Harbor Promenade between 3rd St. and 4th St.).

Celebrate Halloween on the Port's LA Waterfront with a free, family-friendly event that features a costume parade, music, reptiles, arts and crafts, face painting, games, and fun for kids of all ages! Happy Harbor Halloween will take place on Saturday, October 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wilmington Waterfront Park in Wilmington.
